You know that feeling when you walk into a space and immediately exhale?

That's what we're building.

XO GiGi is a creative studio, curated shop, and art gallery in Historic Downtown McKinney, and honestly, it's unlike anything around here.

Think thoughtfully selected art and craft supplies, artisan goods from local and small business makers, creative workspace, gallery exhibitions, and community-driven events. There will always be something new to explore, in-store and online.

At its heart, XO GiGi is a third place. Not home. Not work. But that in-between space where you can slow down, create, and connect with people who get it. ♥

Hi, I'm Gabrielle, GiGi to our Grand-pups (and a play on my LLC name, Gift of Gab Creations).

A few years ago, I made a decision that scared me, a lot. I stepped away from my corporate career, slowed down, and gave myself permission to figure out what was next.

Turns out, this is it.

I’ve always loved creating, crafting, exploring local art spaces, and connecting with other creative people. At one point, I decided I didn’t just want to appreciate art, I wanted to truly learn it. That led me to pursue classes locally and eventually an online certificate program at the Rhode Island School of Design. (And between us, I hope to illustrate the children’s books I've written one day.)

Along the way I noticed something.

So many people want to create, but don’t know where to go, how to start, or don’t feel like they have the space to do it. Research shows what many of us already feel—engaging with the arts is essential to our well-being.

Thank you, Universe.

So, a vision started to take shape.

• A place where people can shop, learn, create, discover, and connect.
• A space for makers, curious beginners, and lifelong creatives alike.
• A community built around the idea that art belongs in everyday life.

Blame it all on the (very messy) charcoal.
